By far the most exciting new toy to hit the water in Destin is the Flyboard. Step into the boots and literally fly above the water. Once mastered you will be able to sore like a superhero 30 feet above the water then dive into the water like a dolphin! The Flyboard attaches a hose onto a waverunner and uses the jet to propel you into the air. It is controlled from either the waverunner or with a joystick on the board itself. It only takes a certified instructor to give a 10-15 minute orientation then 1 – 2 hours to get really proficient in its use. Once the day is out you will be an expert, allowing you to maneuver like Ironman above and through the water. The board will become an extension of yourself. Emerald Coast Flyboard has a few different options to choose from. They start with an orientation for all that are in the group then get into flying.
