Things to do in Destin, Florida for Kids

Whether you are planning your trip from your office before you get to Destin, Florida’s beaches or you get down here and are winging it we have plenty of things to do in Destin, Florida to keep the smiles coming in. In the next few posts I will clue you in to a few of the fun places along Florida’s Gulf Coast.  Of course I would have to say first to go parasailing with Destin Beach Parasail.  We have convenient online booking and a great crew.  Check out my meet the captain page for more info. https://destinbeachparasail.com/meet-the-captain/

Once you have exhausted going to the beach, I don’t know how you can, check out The Track.  They have bumper boats, an arcade, two putt putt courses, bumper cars, an elevated and slick go-cart track, and not to forget bungie jumping for the not so faint hearted.  In summer it is open until 1030.  For tickets and discounts go to www.destintrack.com.  They can accommodate small or large groups and all age groups.  They even have a kid’s country with a merry go round and a riding train.

The next all star of Destin attractions brings us Big Kahunas. With over forty attractions this park will keep the fun rolling as long as you want. Most of the attractions are water slides some fast, some slow, they have straight ones dark ones and slower ones for the smaller kids not looking for speed. With slide names like Cobra Twister and Thunder River they are bound to be bubbling with fun.  Look to their website for season pass information, group rates, or just for some more information. www.bigkahunas.com

So far I have listed two of the bigger attractions in the heart of Destin, Fl.  In this series of things to do in Destin, Fl with the children I will list a plethora of other exciting fun things to keep the kids and you busy from a place called Wonderworks in Panama City Beach to some fun eateries where kids can feed alligators. All these places will give you a well rounded idea of how to have an action packed Destin, Florida vacation that you and the kids will remember for decades to come.
