In this post about things to do in Destin, Fl I am going venture an hour outside of town to Panama City Beach, Florida.  Wonderworks is one of those places that leave you amazed that such a place exists.  It is basically a four story fun house.  I don’t mean just fun for little kids it is fun for big kids too!  From the time you cross the walkway into the fun zone you will be spinning with excitement.

I am not even sure how to begin to describe this place it has so many different toys to play with.  By toys I mean everything from an air hockey table you only have to wave you hand over to move the puck to a ropes course with monkey bridges, rope ladders, balance beams, swings and much more Tarzan like obstacles.  Not only is the pace lots of fun but it is a place of learning.  They show lots of amazing things and tricks to the human eye that leave you wondering, of course, but will also explain how it works.  Some of the other games and toys include, a giant bubble making station, a virtual batting cage, a hurricane simulator, and well, to many things to list in this short post.  Check them out here:  WonderWorks

Once you are there located next door and across the street are Ripley’s Believe it or not, a great maze, putt putt, go carts, and lots of great places to grab a bite to eat. Another plus is that you can come and go as you please once you have a ticket to enter the Wonderworks building.  Of course I will say to stay in Destin, go parasailing, but I know how a trip to this place will go so I encourage you to get the kids together and watch them have the time of their life in this place.
